- High Isolation Power Combiners offer high isolation between input ports and are ideal for power combing of uncorrelated signals (IP2 and IP3 testing).
- Wilkinson 1:2 Power Dividers/Combiners feature the lowest insertion loss across broad bandwidths and provide excellent amplitude and phase balance.
- Resistive 1:2 Power Dividers/Combiners offer response down to DC at the expense of reduced isolation and increased insertion loss compared to a Wilkinson power divider/combiner.
An RF/microwave power divider/combiner can split an input signal into two identical signals or combine two inputs into a single output. For power combining applications, isolation between input ports is the most important specification. For power splitting applications phase balance, amplitude balance, insertion loss, and return loss are more important. Dividers will typically operate across a broader bandwidth than combiners.
